UNLABELLED: We described herein a patient with chronic atypical neutrophilic dermatosis with lipodystrophy and elevated temperature (CANDLE) syndrome and a novel mutation in PSMB8 gene. A method is described for the production of T-cell lines and clones specific for solubilized Trichinella spiralis antigens. In the past 50 years, variants in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) locus, also known as the human leukocyte antigen (HLA), have been reported as major risk factors for complex diseases. We have previously unravelled the striking SLWDQ pentapeptide identity between HIV-1 env gp120 and the CD4 molecule. The survival of renal allografts between SLA-matched swine has been found to be subject to non-SLA-linked Ir gene control.
