In this paper, the molecular sieve NaZSM-5 was modified with zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) by a hydrothermal coating process and other methods. By comparing the effects of the crystal phase structure of ZrO2 and the compositing method on the physicochemical properties and catalytic performance of the obtained composites, the structure-performance relationship of these composite catalysts was revealed. Rhinella marina toad is abundant in Brazil. Its poison contains cardiac glycosides called bufadienolides, which are extensively investigated for their bioactivity. Our aim was to characterize the vasoactivity of Rhinella marina poison (RmP) on the aorta of male Wistar rats. For this, the RmP was first collected and processed to obtain an alcoholic extract. Visible-light-promoted α-methoxymethylation and aminomethylation of ketones using methanol as a sustainable C1 source have been developed. With rose bengal as the photosensitizer and air as the green oxidant, the methoxymethylation reactions proceeded smoothly under visible light irradiation at ambient temperature. Additionally, a one-pot one-step α-aminomethylation of ketones was achieved by adding N-nucleophiles. Preliminary mechanism studies suggest that the reaction mainly proceeds via a radical pathway.
