The results of surgical resection for pulmonary metastases from colorectal, breast, and renal cell carcinomas, soft tissue sarcoma, and osteosarcoma are reviewed. Metastasis suppressor 1 (MTSS1) is a novel metastasis suppressor gene in a variety of cancers.
