MC-C fibrosarcoma and B16F0 melanoma tumors were implanted intradermally in the dorsal region of the foot of mice. Tumor progression was compared to standard implantation in the flank. In the EUROCARE childhood cancer study, there were 2163 registrations from 17 countries for soft-tissue sarcomas in patients aged 0--14 years during 1978--1989. Trends in incidence and survival from soft tissue sarcomas (STS) were analysed for the period 1974-1994 using data from the Cancer Registry of the Swiss canton of Vaud.
