Polyfluorinated amides (PFAMs) are a class of compounds produced as byproducts of polyfluorinated sulfonamide synthesis by electrochemical fluorination (ECF). We measured four PFAM derivatives of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) in a wide range of compounds, experimental materials, and commercial products synthesized by ECF. The performance of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) was compared before and after processing the TiO(2) electrodes by minute-order electrochemical reactions with metal nitrates, where the metals were Mg, Zn, Al, and La, in 2-propanol. PURPOSE: The accumulation of misfolded tau is a common feature of several neurodegenerative disorders, with Alzheimer's disease (AD) being the most common. BACKGROUND: One of the most frequent disorders which lead to cardiac amyloidosis is transthyretin-related amyloidosis (ATTR).
