We experienced one case of so-called buried bumper syndrome (BBS) in which the bumper at the tip of the gastrostomy tube was buried in the abdominal wall after a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG). We herein report a rare complication of the migration of a feeding jejunostomy tube through the entire intestine. A surgical Stamm jejunostomy was performed in a patient with an unresectable gastric cancer using a 28-F silicone catheter with a mushroom tip (Pezzer catheter). We report a case of migration of an intrauterine contraceptive device to the appendix. In this patient with a clinical presentation suggestive of appendicitis, transvaginal ultrasonography visualized a device located outside the uterus, near the small bowel. This is a case report of a unilateral hydrosalpinx caused by tubal migration of a copper intrauterine contraceptive device. A 33-year-old woman underwent laparoscopic right salpingectomy for a hydrosalpinx. Migration of an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) to the urinary bladder is very rare. We describe a case in which transabdominal sonography demonstrated such migration of an IUD in a 30-year-old woman who sought treatment for pelvic pain and dysuria. The IUD had originally been inserted 10 years earlier, and the patient had given birth without complications 2 years before the onset of her symptoms. Cytoscopic examination confirmed the diagnosis and allowed removal of the IUD.

The aim of the authors is an analysis of the results in application of ultrasound technique in patients with intrauterine device (IUD). A seven-month-old male infant developed a hydrocele four weeks after the surgical insertion of a ventriculo-peritoneal shunt. The shunt tip in the scrotum was palpable, visible on transillumination, and evident on abdominal X ray. We present a case of a lost broken needle during repair of a vaginal tear following delivery. The woman was not informed at that time. Only twenty years later a pelvic X-ray visualised the fragment by chance. From that day on she complained about lower abdominal chronic pain and insisted on a hysterectomy. The case considers moving of foreign bodies and as a cause of chronic pain and relates to open information even 20 years later.
