Using a sample of 9133 food delivery riders from T, a Chinese food delivery platform, this study applies a binary probit model to analyse influences of food delivery riders' workloads on the incidence of occupational injuries using self-control theory. A case report of a traumatic dislocation of the testis is described. The patient was a 19-year-old man whose perineum received a high speed impact against the smooth wedge shape of the gasoline tank in a motor cycle accident. BACKGROUND: Our American College of Surgeons Level 1 Trauma Center serves a rural population. As a result, there is a unique set of accidents that are not present in an urban environment such as deer related motor vehicle crashes (dMVC). We characterized injury patterns between motorcycle/all-terrain vehicles (MCC) and automobile (MVC) crashes related to dMVC (deer motor vehicle crash) with the hypotheses that MCC will present with higher Injury Severity Score (ISS) and that it would be related to whether the driver struck the deer or swerved.

Cerebrospinal fluid fistula caused by head trauma is a potentially dangerous problem and precise localization and radical treatment are necessary. We present a case of a patient with Panfacial fracture caused by a motorcycle accident, resulting in a cerebrospinal fluid leakage. The correct diagnosis was realized by computed tomography and auxiliary tests. The successful treatment can be confirmed with the support of radionuclide cisternography examination.

This paper presents a rare case of trans-scaphoid perilunate fracture dislocation with concurrent scaphoid non-union of the left wrist following a motorcycle accident. Emergent CT identified scaphoid non-union advanced collapse and an acute scaphoidectomy, four-corner fusion, denervation and radiocarpal ligament repair was performed.
