BACKGROUND: A persistent progress in perinatal care and a large increase in infants' survival rate have been observed recently. As a result, the number of neonates requiring ophthalmologic examinations due to retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) increased as well.
METHOD: A retrospective survey including 206 neonates with mean birth weight 1342 g and mean gestational age 30 weeks.
MATERIAL: Three groups: 1) without ROP--165 infants (80.1%); 2) with ROP not requiring treatment--13 infants (6.3%); 3) with prethreshold and threshold ROP requiring cryotherapy--28 infants (13.6%) were analysed.

To estimate the prevalence of hepatitis vaccine hesitancy among Chinese university students and identify modifiable correlates to guide campus programs. We ran a multicampus cross-sectional survey (December 2023-February 2024) using a two-stage stratified cluster design across eastern, central, and western China. This comparative study explores how fifth-year medical students in Verona (Italy) and in Halle (Germany) understand and evaluate key end-of-life practices, including advance directives, withholding or withdrawing life-sustaining treatment, palliative care, medically assisted suicide, and life termination through drugs. Surface growth driven by nonmonomeric deposition has remained largely unexplored. We investigate a model based on the deposition of blobs with a power-law size distribution P(s)∼s^{-τ}. However, self-disclosure of the disorder can allow for the empowerment of the individual and increased understanding of the situation for the listener.
