We investigated the atropine-resistant accumulation of sn-1,2-diacylglycerol (DAG) on stimulation of 1 microM carbachol (CCh) in parotid acinar cells. We assessed the impact of twice daily instillations of 10 ml. liquid diphenoxylate hydrochloride and atropine sulfate (Lomotil) on the dynamics and function of continent urinary reservoirs constructed from intact cecum and ascending colon.
