The inhibitory effect of central administration of calcitonin-gene related peptide (CGRP) on pancreatic secretion stimulated by bile-pancreatic juice diversion was determined in conscious rats. Pharmacokinetic and clinical studies were conducted to evaluate cefuzonam (L-105, CZON), a new cephem type antibiotic, in the pediatric field. Decorporation efficacy of prompt pulmonary delivery of DTPA dry powder was assessed following lung contamination with plutonium nitrate and compared to an intravenous injection of DTPA solution and a combined administration of both DTPA compounds. We determined islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) response in plasma to oral and intravenous glucose administration and intravenous insulin injection in nondiabetic subjects. Scleromyxedema is a rare chronic skin disorder of unknown etiology, often accompanied by monoclonal gammopathies.
