Monkeypox (mpox) is a viral zoonosis, and human-to-human transmission can result from close contact with the respiratory secretions and mucocutaneous lesions of an infected person. The implementation of regular reevaluations-including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) if necessary-is essential for the desired treat-to-target strategy. OBJECTIVE: Interdisciplinary care and pediatric to adult transitional programs have consistently shown medical and social value for individuals with complex medical conditions such as spina bifida (SB). Such interdisciplinary clinics are common in pediatrics but are rarely offered for adults.
