OBJECTIVES: To portray physician office visits by young Americans with chronic musculoskeletal pain; to describe clinical management in this group; and to explore factors associated with prescribed treatments.
STUDY DESIGN: Using nationally representative data of ambulatory physician office visits (2007-2015 United States National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey), we identified and cross-sectionally analyzed visits by persons <25 years of age diagnosed with a chronic musculoskeletal pain condition.

INTRODUCTION: The pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus virus has altered all facets of clinical practice in the United States. The goal of this study is to better understand the impact of COVID-19 on rhinologic ambulatory and operative practice.

We prospectively enrolled 20 consecutive patients (11 men and 9 women; mean age 63 +/- 9.5 years) post-AICD implant in a transtelephonic electrocardiographic transmission (TET) program. The monitor was chosen for its retrograde (30 seconds) and antegrade memory capabilities (45 seconds). CONTEXT: Miscarriage care can safely and effectively be offered in appropriately equipped offices and emergency departments. However, it is often treated in the operating room, which limits access to timely, cost-effective and high-quality care.
METHODS: Between May 2013 and January 2014, in-depth interviews were conducted with 30 staff holding diverse roles at 15 medical offices and emergency departments with the aim of exploring barriers to and facilitators of offering miscarriage care, and identifying methods for expanding care.
