OBJECTIVE: To determine whether PostureScreen® Mobile app is a useful, simple tool that is accessible for dentists to evaluate the correlation between malocclusion and posture.
METHODS: Twenty-nine subjects underwent static and dynamic dental occlusion examinations and a postural exam with PostureScreen® Mobile app, a photographic method. The subjects were divided into groups depending on their static and dynamic occlusion features. The postural parameters were then compared between these groups.

We assessed whether there is a recognisable pattern of facial morphology in photographs of a series of 62 children with idiopathic congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV). Photographs were scored for a number of facial characteristics by a research team comprising orthopaedic surgeons and clinical geneticists, to identify a subgroup of children with idiopathic CTEV, who shared characteristic facial features. This paper describes a technique for taking color photographs of the external eye using the Polaroid SX-70 camera and a biomicroscope. It is particularly useful in providing a photographic record of anomalies such as pterygium, in which the rate of progression across the cornea can be observed over a period of months or years.

Cecal volvulus after cesarean section is rare. Symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, cystic abdominal mass, and high-pitched bowel sounds. Abdominal x-ray photography is often diagnostic, revealing a dilated cecum with a single fluid level and distended loops of small bowel. The main differentiating factors in post-cesarean large bowel distention are sigmoid volvulus and pseudo-obstruction of the colon. Treatment should accomplish derotation, decompression, and anchoring to prevent recurrence.

PURPOSE: We demonstrate foveal hypoplasia by optical coherence tomography (OCT).
DESIGN: Observational case report.
METHODS: Foveal hypoplasia was demonstrated in a 79-year-old man with decreased vision since childhood using fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and OCT scans through four meridians of the central foveal.
RESULTS: The OCT showed extension of all neurosensory retinal layers through the area in which the fovea would normally be located.
CONCLUSION: Optical coherence tomography can be used to demonstrate foveal hypoplasia.

PURPOSE: To report a case of a good visual outcome in a patient with bilateral multifocal syphilitic chorioretinitis, despite the late diagnosis.
METHODS: Ophthalmologic examination, multimodal imaging, including fundus photography, angiography, and optical coherence tomography.
RESULTS: The authors describe a 47-year-old heterosexual man with a bilateral multifocal syphilitic chorioretinitis that was lately diagnosed and despite that had a good visual outcome.
CONCLUSION: The diagnosis of ocular syphilis is a challenge; however, once it has been made, even lately, it is eminently treatable…

A 55-year-old male presented with a complaint of a painless and sudden loss of vision in the right eye. Fundus photography revealed loss of transparency and edema in the central macular region. Optical coherence tomography showed increased reflectivity and diffused swelling in the inner retinal layers. Fluorescein angiography revealed a large area of capillary non-perfusion with a pronounced hypofluorescent area with distinct borders. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a hemorrhagic macular infarction associated with marijuana and pregabalin misuse.
