PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to describe parents' experiences in caring for 2-5-year-old children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).
DESIGN AND METHODS: A qualitative study using single-occasion in-depth interviews was conducted. Nine parents (eight mothers and one father) were interviewed in-person or via telephone. Data were analyzed using inductive content analysis. Methods used to protect the trustworthiness of study results included maintenance of an audit trail, peer debriefing, and member checks.

This study examined how incest, depression, parental drinking, relationship status, and living with parents affect patterns of substance use among emerging adults, 18 to 25 years old. The first examples of ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related (ATR) PROTACs were designed and synthesized. Advancements in main-group catalysis are contingent on our ability to quantify effects that enhance reactivity in these systems. Herein we report the rates of alkylation for several substituted phosphines. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) amine metabolites were measured in 37 male subjects with major depressive disorder. We performed a genome wide association analysis of maternally-mediated genetic effects and parent-of-origin (POO) effects on risk of orofacial clefting (OC) using over 2,000 case-parent triads collected through an international cleft consortium. We used log-linear regression models to test individual SNPs. OBJECTIVE: To identify the main determinants of mode of delivery preference among urban dwelling women of lower socioeconomic status (SES).
METHODS: Over a 12-month period, a self-completion 36-item questionnaire was administered to a convenience sample of 308 women within the first 3 postpartum days. Non-parametric tests were used for analysis.

We assessed the effect of parental loss during childhood on the development of psychopathology in 90 adults. Sex-chromosome discordant chimerism (XX/XY chimerism) is a rare chromosomal disorder in humans. INTRODUCTION: Human papillomavirus (HPV) and related diseases are global health concerns affecting both males and females. Tanzania introduced two-dose HPV vaccination for 14-year old girls in 2018. The Add-Vacc trial in rural northwest Tanzania is evaluating the impact of adding one-time, single-dose HPV vaccination for 14-18-year-old boys to the national programme for girls on HPV population prevalence. As this is the first time HPV vaccination has been offered to adolescent males in Tanzania, acceptability of boys' HPV vaccination among adolescents and community stakeholders was assessed.
