BACKGROUND: Regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) has emerged as a treatment modality that reduces bleeding risk and filter clotting. With initial experience of using RCA with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), we have formulated a working protocol based on published literature.

Salbutamol is a drug used to treat the pulmonary diseases by ameliorate the medium and large airways in the lungs. Our research has shown that interventions producing a state of ketosis are highly effective in rat, mouse, and cat models of polycystic kidney disease (PKD), preventing and partially reversing cyst growth and disease progression.
