UNLABELLED: Episiotomy is the most common surgical intervention during childbirth. Cikatridina spray allows treatment of this primary contaminated surgical wound and assist its primary healing. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of aid healing of episiotomy, and spontaneous perineal ruptures after normal and operative vaginal delivery.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study included 90 women after spontaneous or operative vaginal delivery with episiotomy or a spontaneous perineal rupture treated with Cikatridina spray. Control group of 90 women was used to compare the efficency.

BACKGROUND: The risk of developing avascular osteonecrosis (AVN) after chemotherapy is age related and, at up to 17% of all treated patients, relatively high.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: In a prospective study, 8 patients (4 male, 4 female, 14.3+/-4.9 years old) were treated for symptomatic chemotherapy-associated AVN with intravenous infusion of iloprost. Association Research Circulation Osseus (ARCO) stages I-IV in 37 bones (25 joints) were treated.

Here, we show that administration of IL-18 suppresses appetite, feed efficiency, and weight regain in food-deprived male and female C57BL/6J mice. Sixty-five patients who were primary or secondary refractory to melphalan/prednisone or other type of chemotherapy, or relapsed within 6 months after high dose chemotherapy with stem cell support, were given thalidomide at a dose of 200 mg/d escalating to 800 mg. The patients were followed for a median of 2 years and 22 weeks. Response was evaluated according to M-protein reduction combined with improvement of haemoglobin (Hb) concentration, renal function and pain. This study began following an observation that fluid balance (FB) charts seemed to be overloading medical records in Hong Kong hospitals. The major issues for this study were the efficiency and appropriateness of FB charting. The study design included an analysis of 250 medical records and an opinion survey.
