Using transmission electron microscopy, patellar tendons that had been autografted to replace the ACL were studied. Follow-up biopsies, performed at 6, 12 and 24 months after reconstructive surgery demonstrated that the autograft patellar tendons had undergone considerable change. A 6-month-old girl was presented to our hospital due to a presacral mass found 5 months after surgery of sacrococcygeal teratoma. The original tumor was a 63 x 50 mm sized round cyst connecting to the coccyx, observed with computed tomography. The initial operation was performed with en bloc removal of the tumor along with the coccyx in the prone position. Carcinomas of the hilus are malignancies which obstruct the upper part of the bile duct, including the Klatskin tumour but also neighbouring carcinomas invading the hilus and obstructing the biliary tract at this level. Uterine and ovarian artery blood flow (UABF and OABF) were measured in six pregnant monkeys near term by means of the electromagnetic flowmeter. The average UABF was 21.4 ml/min and OABF was 1.9 ml/min. Complete aortic occlusion reduced UABF from 21.4 to 2.4 ml/min, while OABF increased from 1.9 to only 2.1 ml/min. PURPOSE: To use a modified Delphi technique to generate an expert consensus statement on the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries of the knee.
METHODS: A 5-individual working group developed a list of 62 statements regarding PLC injuries for use in a 3-round modified Delphi series. Ultimately, 40 statements were retained, and a 100% participation rate was observed in all rounds. Consensus for each statement was quantified.
