We report a case of a patient presenting to our department with major haemoperitoneum at 23+3 weeks of gestation due to a large rectovaginal endometriotic nodule. The patient required a midline laparotomy to evacuate 1 L of haemoperitoneum and achieve haemostasis. We report unexpected death of a 72-year-old man due to a hemoperitoneum (1.9 L of blood in the abdominal cavity). Postmortem examination revealed that the cause of the hemorrhage was an arterial aneurysmal lesion in the greater omentum. The lesion measured 4 × 4 × 6 cm with a generally smooth wall, but with a focal area of rupture within a hemorrhagic region measuring 1 × 2 cm. There was a substantial feeding artery. A 3-year-old boy presented with persistent abdominal pain, hematuria and facial pallor with progressive anemia. A computed tomography scan showed a massive intraperitoneal hemorrhage and tumor mass in the bladder. Histological examinations of the resected tumor revealed findings of pseudosarcomatous myofibroblastic tumor (PMT). The clinico-pathological features of this case warn us that PMT can cause acute abdomen syndrome with massive intraperitoneal hemorrhage.

A 45-year-old alcoholic male patient presented with hypovolemic shock and intense anemia (Hemoglobin 04.7 g/dl), and was operated on. A bleeding retroperitoneal varix located near the right colon was responsible for the clinical picture and was sutured.
