In a placebo-controlled double-blind comparative study conducted in 19 healthy volunteers, naftifin hydrochlorid cream was tested against clotrimazole 1%, clotrimazole 1%+hydrocortisone 1%, and various hydrocortisone preparations (0.5%; 1%; 2.5%) for erythema-suppressive effects.
