BACKGROUND: Subcutaneous mycoses, although rare, are frequently reported from northeast India. Their spectrum varies with geographic region.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We evaluated clinical records and histopathological features of subcutaneous mycoses cases seen during April 2013 to March 2017.
RESULTS: A total of 70 patients (44 males and 26 females) of subcutaneous mycoses were analyzed. Sixty-one percent of patients were 20-60 years old. PURPOSE: In most clinical series of Cushing's disease (CD), over 80% of patients are women, many of whom are of reproductive age. The year following pregnancy may be a common time to develop CD. We sought to establish the incidence of CD onset associated with pregnancy.

METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed patients with a diagnosis of ENB between March 2008 and February 2016 at 10 tertiary referral hospitals in Japan, and assessed demographic data, stage of disease, surgical approach, outcomes and postoperative complications.

Prior studies have demonstrated that spironolactone is an effective second-line treatment option for postadolescent acne, but has notable side effects. Data are, however, limited. We therefore present a 4-year retrospective study evaluating 291.5 patient-years of spironolactone for the treatment of acne.
