In this study, we developed a sustainable nanocatalyst, AXFe, by functionalizing magnetite nanoparticles with an alginate-xanthine conjugate (AX). This hybrid material combines magnetite's adsorption and photocatalytic properties with the CO2 fixation capabilities of alginate and xanthine.
