Tracheotomy is a routine surgical procedure in oral and maxillofacial surgery. After decannulation, spontaneous tracheostoma closure is usually expected. However, wound healing is often delayed, requiring 1 to 2 weeks for healing and resulting in the need for surgical closure. Although many reports have described the surgical closure of a tracheostoma, few reports have focused on the dressing methods for closure of tracheal openings after decannulation. The tapeworms of fishes (Chondrichthyes and Actinopterygii) account one-third (1670 from around 5000) of the total tapeworm (Platyhelminthes: Cestoda) species diversity. Urate lowering therapy (ULT) should, according to recent guidelines, be initiated in the majority of cases already after the first attack of gout. Allopurinol is the first line choice of ULT and should be started with low dose, which is increased until the treatment target is reached. FIGO established a Working Group on the Prevention of Unsafe Abortion in 2007 and a parallel program or "Initiative" with the same name.
