Efficient recycling of polyurethane foam (PUF) under mild conditions remains a critical challenge. Herein, we report a ternary 1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine (TMG)/cadmium (Cd)/1-methyl-2-hydroxymethylimidazole (HMMI) catalyst with Cd as the metal center, integrating Brønsted base, Lewis acid, and binuclear metal. Combined with a multistage degradation strategy, it achieves complete cleavage of carbamate/urea bonds in PUF under solvent-free mild conditions (180-200°C, 4 h, degradant dosage: 10 wt% relative to PUF mass), enabling spontaneous phase separation into high-purity recycled polyols (RP)

To further extend the structure-activity relationships (SARs) of the previously published ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP-7) inhibitor STIRUR-41, a small library of 5-aminopyrazoles 1a-d and 2a-d is designed and synthesized. The susceptibility of local head lice to permethrin, sumithrin, deltamethrin, and carbaryl was determined by laboratory bioassays in field-collected colonies. Head lice collected from the infested heads of children 6-12 yr old were tested within 3 h of collection. The longest survival of control insects in the laboratory was obtained by keeping them in the dark at 18 degrees C and 70-80% RH.
