STUDY OBJECTIVE: To report a rare case of urethral duplication (UD) in a 5-year-9-month-old girl and describe the surgical approach and outcomes.
METHODS: A 5-year-9-month-old girl presented with postvoid dribbling and clitoral swelling. Physical examination and imaging were performed. During surgery, a fistula tract was identified, dissected, and excised. This tract was found to be a UD extending between the distal urethra and the clitoris. We report our experience with laparoscopic gonadal biopsy and gonadectomy for a girl with a dicentric Y chromosome in mixed gonadal dysgenesis (MGD).
