The clinical and histologic picture of 84 anogenital condylomatous and condyloma-like lesions of both sexes were analyzed in an effort to establish a correlation to the different papillomavirus (PV) types. HPV infections in the anogenital region may have very heterogeneous clinical features. Most often typical papillomatous condylomata acuminata are observed that usually present no differential diagnostic difficulty. This is a case report of a patient with vulvar condyloma acuminatum associated with hyperkeratosis and folliculitis, which had been refractory to two previous therapies. In this work, we used photodynamic therapy(ALA-PDT) to treat 2 patients with perianal hemorrhoids combined with condyloma acuminatum. After 4 photodynamic treatments, the condyloma acuminata skin lesions completely disappeared. At the same time, we unexpectedly found that the patient's hemorrhoids skin lesions had mostly faded, and did not reappear during the half-year follow-up. Photodynamic therapy is satisfactory in the treatment of hemorrhoids combined with condyloma acuminatum, and the recurrence rate is low.
