We report a case of plasma cell granuloma which is a rare intracranial tumour showing plasma cell infiltration. It mimics meningioma and solitary plasmacytoma clinically and radiologically. This review of recent data on the techniques and results of spinal magnetic resonance imaging in plasma cell dyscrasias provides a basis for selecting those patients who are most likely to benefit from this investigation. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinicopathological features and response to circumcision in patients with plasma cell balanitis.
SUBJECTS AND METHOD: 32 uncircumcised men with penile lesions typical of plasma cell balanitis. Twenty specimens were available for histopathology.

Aspirin therapy for patients with systemic mast cell disease (SMCD) decreases the production of prostaglandin D2, which is thought to be a major mediator of flushing. Paradoxically, in 5 to 10% of patients with SMCD, administration of aspirin causes massive mediator release and an anaphylactoid reaction. Since thrombotic phenomena have important roles in the vasoocclusive manifestations in sickle cell disease (SCD), protein C (PC) was determined in 32 children with SCD during steady state and vasoocclusive crisis (VOC) and in controls.
