A 50-year-old woman was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia on general medical examination. Three female patients with histories of lymphangiomyomatosis are reported. Each was examined by means of high resolution computerized tomography. All three cases showed homogeneous distribution of cystic lesions in the pulmonary parenchyma. This pattern may be regarded as typical and may even be pathognomonic. In two patients lymphomas of the retroperitoneal space and renal masses were found.

Perforation into the retroperitoneal space may occur during duodenoscopic sphincterotomy and can be recognized radiographically. While it is potentially serious, most patients should respond to conservative management provided that adequate biliary drainage is achieved. Five cases encountered during approximately 500 sphincterotomies are presented. Radiographs taken 24 hours after 50 additional procedures showed no evidence of perforation.

We present a rare case of retroperitoneal dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS) masquerading as rhabdomyosarcoma. The patient was a 74-year-old man, complaining a loss of appetite. Abdominal computed tomography revealed a retroperitoneal mass, 10 cm in diameter, between the liver and the right adrenal gland. INTRODUCTION: Soft tissue sarcomas are rare neoplasms often characterized by local invasiveness and distant metastasis with poor prognosis for affected patients. Among the most frequent sarcomas we find well-differentiated and dedifferentiated liposarcomas characterized by a better survival compared to the other histological types. Bronchogenic cysts are benign lesions, which are usually described at the chest level. We present here a case report of a retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst. A 77-year-old man presented with a left retroperitoneal tumor discovered by scanner. There was no endocrine disruption. Excision of the lesion was performed and final diagnosis was a bronchogenic cyst. Current widespread use of modern radiology enables increased discovery of such "incidentalomes". In the future, pathologists will be routinely faced with this type of diagnosis, which up to now has been described as exceptional.

Internal bleeding in patients undergoing orchiectomy for a malignant testicular tumor can cause a dissecting hematoma in the retroperitoneum. This mass may have the clinical appearance of an iliac fossa mass and may simulate metastasis on computed tomography (CT). This condition was seen in four of 486 orchiectomy patients who underwent postoperative staging with CT. One patient is described in detail.
