BACKGROUND: Bilateral cervicofacial burn contracture initially affects facial expressions and later affects tempero mandibular joint (TMJ) function of the patient. It further tightens the ligaments and capsules around the TMJ and leads to tempero mandibular dysfunction. The intensive care unit (ICU) trauma population is at high risk for complications associated with immobility. The purpose of this project was to compare ICU trauma patient outcomes before and after implementation of a structured progressive mobility (PM) protocol. BACKGROUND: Total hip (THA) and knee arthroplasty (TKA) are common procedures in elderly persons, who are at potential increased risk of postoperative fall due to loss of muscle strength and impaired balance. BACKGROUND: Despite advancements in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR), achieving symmetrical movement patterns during stair negotiation remains challenging. Therefore, this study examines lower limb kinematics during stair ambulation at the early and mid-rehabilitation stages after ACLR in a real-world environment.
