OBJECTIVE: Retrograde cricopharyngeal dysfunction (RCPD) is defined by the inability to burp, sometimes with gurgling, chest/abdominal discomfort, and excessive flatulence. Treatment involves cricopharyngeal Botulinum Toxin-A (BonT-A) injection. However, the optimal dose and route are unclear.
