Fecal incontinence is a disabling condition in which the passage of fecal material cannot be controlled. A 16-year old girl presented with a history of abdominal pain, lump in epigastrium since one year. The ultrasound examination showed an epigastric mass, which was delineated as a filling defect in the stomach on barium studies. Upper GI endoscopy showed a large intragastric mass composed of hair. Pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) is a foreign-body inflammatory reaction surrounding ingrown facial hair, which results from shaving. The problem occurs in persons with curly hair, with an incidence of over 50 percent in black men. The objective of the two studies described was to assess the effectiveness of topical glycolic acid in the treatment and prevention of razor bumps. Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy was performed successfully to the stones in the left kidney, in which pyelolithotomy had been done three years earlier. There were foreign body stones with silk sutures used in the previous surgery as the nuclei. All the stones were removed, and a stricture in the renal pelvis was liberated endoscopically. No reports of endoscopic management to foreign body stones in a kidney are found in the Japanese literature. A few ways of the treatment are discussed.

Evidence is presented that actinic granuloma is not a specific connective tissue disorder as it is thought to be by O'Brien. Granulomatous inflammation does not result simply from a response to elastotic fibers, but is a consequence of primary pathologic processes that are unrelated to damaged elastotic material. Microblading is a common cosmetic procedure that can modify the appearance of one's eyebrows. Although generally well-tolerated, the procedure can cause a number of dermatologic issues; on rare occasions, granulomatous reactions can manifest.
