[Electromagnetic radiation of extra high frequency as a method of rehabilitation after surgical treatment of tubal-peritoneal infertility].

Seventy four patients entered the placebo-controlled study of rehabilitation EHF therapy 1 month after surgical laparoscopy for tubal-peritoneal infertility. It was found that early EHF therapy corrects hemodynamics in small pelvis vasculature characteristic for chronic inflammation of the uterine appendages thus raising the rate of impregnation.

[The effect of electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter range on the development of disorders in the liver induced by ether anesthesia (experimental research)].

Rat experiments with ether anaesthesia (EA) indicate that EA induces enlargement of hepatic sinusoids, stasis and perivascular edema of the triad vessels and other changes in the liver. Right hypochondrium exposure to electromagnetic waves (4.76-5.08 mm) up to 20 days in rats given simultaneously ether anaesthesia showed that livers from the irradiated rats did not differ from control. Thus, millimetric wave radiation may prevent pathological alterations arising in white rat liver after ether anaesthesia.

[The ultrastructural characteristics of the duodenal mucosa in peptic ulcer patients undergoing treatment with EHF-range electromagnetic radiation].

An effect was studied of electromagnetic radiation of the millimetric wave band (EHF EMR) on ultrastructural processes of the mucosa and healing of ulcer in 10 patients with duodenal ulcer. Biopsy specimens were taken from the base of the margin of the ulcer and in the area 1 cm from the margin of the ulcer defect before the treatment, after 5 and 10 sessions of EHF EMR to acupuncture points. EHF EMR was found to exert a stimulating effect on the processes of ulcer regeneration. Seen after session 5 are layers of proliferating poorly differentiated enterocytes, activation of immune and autoimm…

Origins of Electromagnetic Radiation from Spintronic Terahertz Emitters: A Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory plus Jefimenko Equations Approach.

Microscopic origins of charge currents and electromagnetic (EM) radiation generated by them in spintronic THz emitters-such as, femtosecond laser pulse-driven single magnetic layer or its heterostructures with a nonmagnetic layer hosting strong spin-orbit coupling (SOC)-remain poorly understood despite nearly three decades since the discovery of ultrafast demagnetization. We introduce a first-principles method to compute these quantities, where the dynamics of charge and current densities is obtained from real-time time-dependent density functional theory, which are then fed into the Jefimenko

Monitoring dynamic reactions of red blood cells to UHF electromagnetic waves radiation using a novel micro-imaging technology.

Multiple state-of-the-art techniques, such as multi-dimensional micro-imaging, fast multi-channel micro-spetrophotometry, and dynamic micro-imaging analysis, were used to dynamically investigate various effects of cell under the 900 MHz electromagnetic radiation. Cell changes in shape, size, and parameters of Hb absorption spectrum under different power density electromagnetic waves radiation were presented in this article. Experimental results indicated that the isolated human red blood cells (RBCs) do not have obviously real-time responses to the ultra-low density (15 μW/cm(2), 31 μW/cm(2)) …

Melatonin and a spin-trap compound block radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation-induced DNA strand breaks in rat brain cells.

Effects of in vivo microwave exposure on DNA strand breaks, a form of DNA damage, were investigated in rat brain cells. In previous research, we have found that acute (2 hours) exposure to pulsed (2 microseconds pulses, 500 pps) 2450-MHz radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RFR) (power density 2 mW/cm2, average whole body specific absorption rate 1.2 W/kg) caused an increase in DNA single- and double-strand breaks in brain cells of the rat when assayed 4 hours post exposure using a microgel electrophoresis assay. In the present study, we found that treatment of rats immediately before and…

Coupling Mechanism of Dissipated Energy-Electromagnetic Radiation Energy during Deformation and Fracture of Loaded Composite Coal and Rock.

The nature of composite coal and rock fracture under load is the process of energy conversion inside it, and to explore the coupling mechanism of dissipated energy (DE) and electromagnetic radiation energy (ERE) during the deformation and fracture process of loaded composite coal and rock, based on theoretical mechanics, electromagnetics, and other subject theories, the stress-charge induction signal coupling relationship is deduced and established. On this basis, a coupled mathematical model of dissipated energy-electromagnetic radiation energy (DE-ERE) is established, and uniaxial loading ex…

Radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation from Wi-fi and its effects on human health, in particular children and adolescents. Review.

Radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation emitted from Wi-Fi devices is nonionizing radiation. The frequencies used in wireless technology are similar to those applied in mobile telephony. Due to the much lower output power of devices using Wi-Fi compared to mobile phones, the degree of exposure to radiation is also lower. Most of the research on Wi-Fi has been carried out in less favorable or adverse conditions, involving higher power values of devices (peak values instead of average values) and smaller distances of working devices from measuring points. None of the studies conducted so far ha…

Levels of electromagnetic radiation from telecommunication towers in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: implications for public exposure and regulatory compliance.

The rapid expansion of telecommunication infrastructure has intensified public concerns regarding exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMFs). This study evaluates electromagnetic field (EMF) levels and power densities emitted by telecommunication towers in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and benchmarks them against international exposure standards. A cross-sectional design was employed involving 40 base transceiver stations. Electric field strength measurements were conducted using a calibrated Narda SRM-3006 frequency-selective radiation meter, while power density was computed using

Low frequency electromagnetic waves increase human sperm motility - A pilot study revealing the potent effect of 43 kHz radiation.

OBJECTIVES: Abnormalities in the timing and course of spermatozoa capacitation and hyperactivation underlie common pathologies related to male infertility. Recent data shows that low frequency electromagnetic waves may influence cell membrane potential and permeability. It is therefore possible that low frequency electromagnetic waves could affect the maturation and motility processes of spermatozoa. The 43-kHz wave generator was used for modeling the impact of environmental exposure to low frequency electromagnetic radiation on human sperm. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Sperm samples were gathered f…

[Dependence of anti-inflammatory effects of high peak-power pulsed electromagnetic radiation of extremely high frequency on exposure parameters].

A pronounced anti-inflammatory effect of high peak-power pulsed electromagnetic radiation of extremely high frequency was shown for the first time in a model of zymosan-induced footpad edema in mice. Exposure to radiation of specific parameters (35, 27 GHz, peak power 20 kW, pulse widths 400-600 ns, pulse repetition frequency 5-500 Hz) decreased the exudative edema and local hyperthermia by 20% compared to the control. The kinetics and the magnitude of the anti-inflammatory effect were comparable with those induced by sodium diclofenac at a dose of 3 mg/kg. It was found that the anti-inflammat…

Non-thermal biological effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation: Mechanistic insights into male reproductive vulnerability in the era of ubiquitous exposure.

The rapid proliferation of wireless technologies has led to continuous, low-intensity exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) from devices such as mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, and wearable electronics. Although RF-EMR is non-ionizing, a growing body of evidence indicates that chronic exposure can induce non-thermal biological effects with significant implications for male reproductive health. This review synthesizes current findings on the mechanistic pathways through which RF-EMR may impair fertility, focusing on oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, DNA damage, …

Effect of the Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Radiation on Transcriptomic Profile of Pig Myometrium during the Peri-Implantation Period-An In Vitro Study.

The electromagnetic field (EMF) affects the physiological processes in mammals, but the molecular background of the observed alterations remains not well established. In this study was tested the effect of short duration (2 h) of the EMF treatment (50 Hz, 8 mT) on global transcriptomic alterations in the myometrium of pigs during the peri-implantation period using next-generation sequencing. As a result, the EMF treatment affected the expression of 215 transcript active regions (TARs), and among them, the assigned gene protein-coding biotype possessed 90 ones (differentially expressed genes, D
