BACKGROUND: Ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecological malignancy and lacks therapeutic options in the recurrent setting. From a series of 53 patients with ataxia telangiectasia, two large clones with a t tan or tct(14;14) and two with an inv(14) were observed among phytohaemagglutinin (PHA)-stimulated lymphocytes. Smaller clones with the same inv(14) were observed in two other cases. Narcolepsy is a life-long neurological disorder with well-established genetic risk factors. Human leukocyte antigen-DQB1*06:02 remains the strongest genetic predeterminant; however, polymorphisms in genes encoding the T-cell receptor alpha chain are also strongly linked.
