In this study, we report the case of a patient with profound lymphopenia after allogenic bone marrow transplantation who developed severe progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. Progression of breast cancer involves cross-talk between epithelial and stromal cells. This cross-talk is mediated by growth factors and cytokines secreted by both cancer and stromal cells. This study analyzes both the blister fluid (BF) and serum levels of IL-7 and TGF-beta1 in samples from 18 patients affected with bullous pemphigoid (BP). Propofol is widely used in anesthesia, but its role in breast cancer progression remains controversial. This study investigated the molecular mechanisms of propofol in breast cancer, focusing on IL-6 and tumor microenvironment modulation.
