BACKGROUND: Rabies is a preventable zoonosis with the highest case fatality of any disease in the world. In the developing world, it is transmitted mainly by dog bites. In parts of southern Nigeria, dog meat is a delicacy.

Growing interest has been expressed by the business community concerning intervention against smoking in the workplace. As most adult smokers are unlikely to have access to smokers' clinics or other treatment facilities outside the workplace, the workplace itself could be an ideal location for the provision of treatment programs. If the interest of the business community can be translated into action, large populations of smokers would become accessible to workplace treatment programs. Despite this possibility, the potential of the workplace for smoking intervention remains largely unexplored.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Regular, sustained moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) is a recommended strategy to reduce the risk of recurrent stroke for people who have had transient ischemic attack (TIA) or mild stroke. This study aimed to explore attitudes toward, and experience of engaging in physical activity by adults following a TIA or mild stroke.
