Clitoral pain is not often reported by patients or in literature. The author reports on 7 women from his practice and 14 women who were on-line volunteers, all of whom had clitoral pain as a major feature. Features included mild to moderate rest pain and significant contact, light-touch induced or pressure induced pain. Associations include Multiple Sclerosis, GUillain Barre Syndrome, urethral sphincter dyssynergia, various vulvar pain syndromes (nine cases), post-hysterectomy, Lichen Sclerosis (five cases), spondylolisthesis, vaginismus and genital or pelvic trauma.
