Primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC) is the rarest gynecologic malignancy. We present the first documented case of this rare neoplasm in Ethiopia, in a 50 years old perimenopausal woman. The patient complained of irregular menses, on and off vaginal discharge and longstanding lower abdominal pain. She had longstanding infertility for which she did not seek medical help. BACKGROUND: An initial presentation of inguinal metastasis in primary fallopian tube cancer in an asymptomatic patient is uncommon. All previously described palpable lymphadenopathies in fallopian tube cancer have been associated with widely disseminated intra-abdominal disease.
CASE: This is the first case of inguinal node metastasis from fallopian tube cancer in a 72-year-old asymptomatic patient with a previous hysterectomy with no evidence of intra-abdominal disease. The metastasis was detected in the contralateral inguinal area.

OBJECTIVE: To compare clinical and histologic features between fallopian tube cancers in women with germline BRCA mutations and sporadic cases.
METHODS: Twenty-eight patients with fallopian tube cancer had BRCA mutation testing using multiplex polymerase chain reaction and protein truncation testing. CASE: A 34-year-old patient presented with the symptoms of salpingitis. Laparoscopy with salpingectomy was performed. Salpingitis caused by Acinetobacter species was diagnosed and antibiotic treatment was administered. OBJECTIVES: Inguinal metastasis is a hitherto unreported presenting feature of fallopian tube adenocarcinoma.
CASE: We describe a case of a 69-year-old patient whose first manifestation of fallopian tube adenocarcinoma was an enlarged inguinal lymph node. This was excised and confirmed to be metastatic adenocarcinoma. She was investigated by diagnostic laparoscopy and subsequently underwent laparotomy with total abdominal hysterectomy, omentectomy, and pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissection. All but two of the lymph nodes extirpated were negative.

Primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube is a rare malignancy of the female genital tract and infrequently diagnosed before an operation. The majority of patients have extensive disease at the time of diagnosis. We have experienced incidentally a case of a carcinoma of the fallopian tube coexisting with a benign cystic teratoma of the ovary in a 25-year-old woman. We report this case with a brief review of literatures.
