CASE PRESENTATION: A 74-year-old woman presented at the emergency department with abdominal pain. She had undergone a colonoscopy three days prior that had revealed a tumour in the transverse colon. INTRODUCTION: Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is extremely rare in spontaneous pregnancies. Spontaneous OHSS can result from glycoprotein hormones stimulating follicle-stimulating hormone receptors (FSHR).

Intramural hematoma of the cecum is a rare complication of blunt abdominal trauma. We report two patients who presented with cecal hematoma after a fall and a traffic accident, respectively.
