Apexification is a crucial procedure for achieving apical healing in non-vital teeth with open apices. Traditionally, calcium hydroxide has been used for this purpose, but it has significant drawbacks, including prolonged treatment duration, increased risk of root fracture, and the potential for porous barrier formation. Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) has emerged as a superior alternative due to its biocompatibility, faster setting time, and better sealing properties. However, MTA extrusion into periradicular tissues can cause persistent discomfort. The use of an internal matrix such as plat

Enzymatic dissolution of nucleus pulposus by percutaneous injection of a papain preparation is now used frequently to treat lumbosacral disc hernias responsible for resistant sciatica. Mechanisms of action and techniques are reviewed, and the importance of applying strict criteria for indications for use emphasized. The method should be reserved for nerve root sciatica resistant to medical treatment or physiotherapy, and it constitutes the last stage of conservative treatment. Exclusion criteria are mainly "excluded" disc lesions, major dysfunction or associated spinal vertebral canal stenosis

Accomplishment of an ideal root canal treatment is attributed to various essential factors such as proper instrumentation, chemomechanical preparation, obturation and post endodontic restoration. The main aim of this study is to test the null hypothesis that is the moisture condition of root dentin would not affect the bond strength and sealer penetration. This is an in vitro study conducted in Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, M A Rangoonwala Dental College, Pune, India over a period of two years (from 2021 to 2023). One hundred and twenty single-rooted Premolars with full

Intentional Replantation (IR) has traditionally been considered a treatment of last resort due to complications during extraction, handling, and replantation. Root resorption and failure often resulted from drying of the root surface during extraoral manipulations. Replantation techniques have been recently modified to prevent desiccation. This article presents a modified IR technique with continuous immersion of the tooth in a tissue culture solution. This allows extension of the extraoral time period to permit inspection of the root surfaces, precise root-end resections and preparations, and

Adhesion science is one of the greatest contributions to restorative dentistry. Adhesion not only established the current principles of tissue preservation, but also allowed for the production of more hermetic and long-lasting restorations. Although adhesive strategies are routinely used in most clinical situations, adhesion to root dentin is still a major challenge. The presence of humidity together with less intertubular dentin are factors that limit the adhesive potential of root dentin. This situation is more unfavorable in endodontically treated teeth prepared for prefabricated or custom-
