A patient with neurofibromatosis type 1 presented to the pain clinic with neuropathic pain. Thoracolumbar magnetic resonance imagining revealed meningocele T12-L2 with cauda equina distortion. Ureteral obstruction may develop in immunocompromised patients with an Aspergillus fungal infection. Infections can progress to invasive aspergillosis, which is highly lethal. We report a case of a 56-year-old man with alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver and diabetes. He had ureteral aspergilloma, discovered as a saprophytic whitish mass. It was treated by ureteroscopic removal, however, he refused antifungal treatment. His condition progressed to invasive aspergillosis, and died from sepsis and hepatorenal syndrome.

Radiesse or calcium hydroxylapatite has been used for years in patients with HIV associated lipoatrophy as well as for facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds [2, 3], but can be painful to inject especially in the latter area. This discomfort can be severe enough that after an injection with Radiesse, a patient, despite excellent results, may refuse additional treatments. We hereby describe several methods of minimizing discomfort during Radiesse injections of nasolabial folds and other facial areas.

Clinical description of a case of FMH in a 77 years-old man, heavy smoker and diabetic. At the beginning its appearance mimic a small polyp of the middle third of the right vocal cord. The patient refused any treatment at first, but one year later, when seen again in the office, a mass covering-up the right hemilarynx was detected and a total laryngectomy was advised and done. Natural course of perianal abscess (PA) in infancy remains obscure. This study aimed to investigate the natural course of infants with PA after conservative treatment. A retrospective cohort study was conducted in infants with PA who were treated conservatively (due to the parents' refusal of surgery), for more than 2 months between 2014 and 2020 at a single tertiary center. 153 patients (149 boys and 4 girls) were identified.
