We report here a case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with pulmonary hemorrhage and anti-glomerular basement membrane (anti-GBM) antibodies. Viral exanthems are mostly associated with self-limited diseases. However, in some cases diagnosis of an exanthem may be crucial to patients and their contacts. Certain exanthems have fairly characteristic morphology, but in many cases an accurate diagnosis cannot be made on the basis of morphology alone. In 1969-1973, acute yersiniosis was diagnosed in 30 cases of erythema nodosum (EN), in 6 cases of EN and simultaneous erythema multiforme (EM), in one case of EN and erythema figuratum, in one case of EM, and in one case of drug eruption-like exanthema, respectively.
