We demonstrate the mediation of charge transport and release in thin films and devices by shifting the redox properties of layers of metal complexes by light. The nanoscale surface arrangement of both photo- and electrochemically-active components is essential for the function of the thin films. We successfully demonstrate surface-enhanced infrared spectroscopy using arrays of indium tin oxide (ITO) plasmonic nanoantennas. The ITO antennas show a strongly reduced plasmon wavelength, which holds promise for ultracompact antenna arrays and extremely subwavelength metamaterials. We present our experience with 129 patients in whom PTA was performed in 135 stenosed or occluded supra-aortic arteries. Angioplasty was successful in 44 stenoses of the carotid artery, 19 stenoses of the vertebral artery, 5 stenosis of the innominate artery, 53 stenoses of the subclavian artery and 4 occlusions of the subclavian artery. The correlation between the response to high-dose immunoglobulin therapy (IVIg) and the sequestration pattern of Indium-labeled platelets (In-PLT) in the body was studied in 9 patients with chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). The authors studied the effects on cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) absorption of chronic administration and acute withdrawal of steroids in dogs. In this work, uniform poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT) films are fabricated on indium-tin oxide (ITO) surfaces using surface-initiated Kumada catalyst-transfer polycondensation (SI-KCTP) from surface-bound arylnickel(II) bromide initiators. The design of high-performance and low-power formaldehyde (HCHO) gas sensors is of great interest to researchers for environmental monitoring and human health. Herein, In2O3/CsPbBr3 composites were successfully synthesized through an electrospinning and self-assembly approach, and their ultraviolet-activated (UV-activated) HCHO gas-sensing properties were investigated.
