OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study to determine the factors of health formation in disabled children with congenital cleft lip and/or palate.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: The data of rehabilitation records and interviews with families raising 393 children with congenital clefts of the upper lip and/or palate aged 3 to 12 years were analyzed.

Osteoblastomas and aneurysmal bone cysts are uncommon benign tumors of the spine. Their presentation can vary between diffuse pain, restriction of neck movements, torticollis, radiculopathy, and myelopathy. Complete excision is the best treatment to achieve a cure, but recurrence is not uncommon. A combination of the two conditions in the pediatric population is extremely rare. A family is described in which three children had homozygous deficiency of C3 and in which both parents and two other children were heterozygous for the C3 null gene.
