We describe here a 62-year-old woman who presented with a perivascular epithelioid cell tumor arising in the sigmoid colon. Computed tomography revealed a 5-cm-sized intraluminal fungating mass. Histologically, the tumor consisted of plump, epithelioid cells with abundant clear-to-lightly eosinophilic cytoplasm and round nuclei, arranged in an alveolar or trabecular pattern. Thyroid-like low-grade nasopharyngeal papillary adenocarcinoma (TL-LGNPPA) is an extremely rare neoplasm. It morphologically resembles papillary thyroid carcinoma and is immunochemically positive for thyroid transcription factor 1. OBJECTIVE: Schwannomas rarely present as pelvic masses. Most of them have been previously examined in the pelvis, vagina, retroperitoneum, and mediastinum. PURPOSE: Ciliary body mesectodermal leiomyoma is a rare, benign smooth muscle tumor that typically presents in women in the second to fourth decade of life. The diagnosis is typically based on clinical color, funduscopic appearance, transillumination properties, and B-scan ultrasonography.

We reviewed the clinical, pathological and immunohistochemical features of six unilocular cystic granulosa cell tumors (UCGs) of the ovary. The mean age of the patients was 46 years and the presenting features included abdominal distension, pain, urinary frequency, dyspareunia and amenorrhea. Angioleiomyoma is benign soft tissue tumor composed of smooth muscle cells and vascular endothelium, characterized with slow growth, unspecific symptoms and rare malignant transformation. It is very rare in the head and neck region and complete surgical excision is the gold standard for diagnosis and treatment. We present a very rare case of angoleomyoma of the tounge base treated with partial glosectomy with harmonic scalpel which shortened surgical procedure, reduced bleeding and postoperative complications.

Angiomyomatous hamartoma is a primary vascular tumor primarily found in the inguinal and femoral lymph nodes characterized by the replacement of nodal tissue by smooth muscle cells and fibrous tissue in sclerotic lymphatic stroma. There has been 1 report of an angiomyomatous hamartoma of a cervical lymph node, and this is the first reported case occurring in an extremity. Myxoid leiomyosarcoma (mLMS) of the uterus is a rare neoplasm; thus, knowledge of its clinical behavior and morphology remains limited. We therefore reviewed 30 cases initially diagnosed as uterine mLMS to better characterize its clinicopathologic features. While clear cell, papillary and chromophobic renal cell carinoma (RCC) represent the most common malignant renal neoplasms, the evaluation and classification of rare renal carcinomas has currently come into focus. One of these is the leiomyomatous RCC, which shows morphologic similarities to clear cell RCCs, however exhibiting additional, atypical smooth muscle differentiation. We report the clinical case of a patient simultaneously presenting with leiomyomatous and papillary RCC and discuss new tumor entities of RCC.

Leiomyomas are benign neoplasias consisting of smooth muscle tissue, with the most common localization being the uterus. Less often incidence is observed in other regions such as the blood vessels, esophagus and lower urinary tract. Leiomyomas occur only rarely in the head and neck area. We report about a female patient being treated because of progredient swelling and enlargement of the left parotid gland. The histological specimen revealed a regressive transformed tumor.
