Adult males and females of Onchocerca gutturosa were implanted into the peritoneal cavity of mice, and their survival was determined at intervals thereafter by post-mortem examination. Small cohort studies suggest that patient-specific instrumentation (PSI) may hold promise, notably for bone margin accuracy. Random skin flaps are widely used to repair tissue defects. However, the distal flap regions are prone to ischemic necrosis, limiting clinical applications. Azadirachtin A, a fruit extract from the neem, improves tissue blood supply and metabolism, reduces cell swelling, promotes tissue healing, and prevents venous thrombosis. Cases of 251 patients with soft-tissue sarcoma of the extremities, trunk, head and neck, and retroperitoneum were reviewed. The overall five-, ten-, and 15-year survival rates were 45%, 30%, and 24%, respectively. The records of 38 patients under 25 years of age presenting with pineal tumours between 1968 and 1993, identified from the Northern Region Children's and Young Adults' Malignant Disease Registry, were analysed retrospectively with regards to clinical presentation, diagnostic approach, treatment strategy, and outcome.
