Vitiligo is a prevalent autoimmune disease affecting the quality of life and self-confidence. Total 25 phytochemicals from plants were screened by using four target proteins involved in the pathogenesis of vitiligo. The binding affinity of the ligands ranged between -10.3 and -4.5 kcal/mol. The present study evaluated the interactive effect of melatonin and UV-C on phenylpropanoid metabolites profile and antioxidant potential of Ocimum basilicum L. Callus was treated with varying concentrations of melatonin and UV-C radiations for different time durations, either alone and/or in combination. The spontaneous and ADP-induced platelets aggregation was examined by the method of Holdrinet et al. The platelets ability to aggregate, whether spontaneously or by induction was found to be statistically significantly reduced.
