Spontaneous dizygotic unilateral twin tubal pregnancy is an extremely rare occurrence with a high risk for pregnancy-related mortality, and a diagnostic challenge for obstetricians. BACKGROUND: Intramural pregnancy associated with adenomyosis after in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer is a rare occurrence.
CASE: A 37-year-old woman presented with a history of 2 dilation and curettage procedures after 2 miscarriages in the first trimester. She underwent transvaginal ultrasound and systemic and sonography-guided local methotrexate injection.

Current management of cesarean scar pregnancy is conservative and consists of medical treatment with methotrexate (MTX). We present a report on a woman with this type of pregnancy who had continuous vaginal bleeding and persistent serum levels of beta human chorionic gonadotropin after undergoing curettage and MTX. Eventually, the remaining ectopic gestational tissue was removed by operative hysteroscopy.

In a study of 30 802 unaffected pregnancies and 90 cases of Down syndrome I have analysed second trimester maternal serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and free beta-human chorionic gonadotrophin (beta-hCG) and grouped the data by fetal sex.
