[The scientific acculturation of nurses: a driver of transformation].

The 2026 nursing degree reform strengthens the integration of research and evidence-based practice, requiring students to have greater scientific literacy. However, a gap persists between adherence to these principles and their actual implementation, due to organizational and pedagogical barriers. Creating environments that foster a culture of scientific inquiry is therefore essential for the reform to yield tangible results.

Interprofessional teams see differently: a cross-over study using dual mobile eye-tracking.

It is widely assumed that interprofessional teams (IP) attend to broader range of clinical information than monoprofessional teams (MP), because each profession is trained to prioritize different aspects of patient care. Yet no study has empirically tested this assumption. We conducted a randomized cross-over study, where medical and nursing students in their fourth year worked together in teams of two on paper-based clinical cases, and in three different team compositions: medical+medical (MPMed), nursing+nursing (MPNurse), and medical+nursing (IP). We used mobile eye-tracking glasses on both

Managers' experiences of implementing palliative care in nursing homes: a qualitative follow-up study after an educational intervention for the staff.

BACKGROUND: It is crucial to implement knowledge-based, high-quality palliative care for the increasing number of frail older people with multimorbidities in nursing homes. The manager's role in a successful implementation is often taken for granted despite scarce evidence. Therefore, the aim of this long-term follow-up study was to explore how managers experienced the implementation of palliative care in nursing homes after a multicentre educational intervention for staff. This Implementation of Knowledge-Based Palliative Care in Nursing Homes (KUPA) program consisted of workplace seminars, r

Community-based neuropalliative care.

Community-based palliative care is defined as palliative care delivered outside of the hospital and outpatient clinics. These settings include the home, nursing homes, day programs, volunteer organizations, and support groups. There is strong evidence outside of the neuropalliative context that community-based palliative care can reduce hospital costs and admissions at the end of life. Research that focuses on specialized community-based palliative care for neurologic disease have similar findings, although with significant variability across conditions and geographic locations. Several of the
