BACKGROUND: Given the common off-label use of antipsychotics (AP), we aimed to assess the factors associated with this use in community living older adults.
METHODS: The study sample consisted of a large representative sample of older adults (n = 4108), covered under a public drug insurance plan in Canada. Off-label use of antipsychotics was defined by the absence of an approved indication for this use, according to Health Canada's drug product database. Multinomial logistic regression was used to assess the factors associated with off-label use.

Many over-the-counter (OTC) products are marketed to treat molluscum contagiosum, a common childhood viral infection with an estimated point prevalence of 5%-11%. OBJECTIVE: Identify the perceived importance of front-of-package warning labels in purchase decisions of industrialized food products among Mexican adults with self-reported noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Data from the 2021 Mexican National Health and Nutrition Survey labeling and health questionnaires were analyzed. Logistic regression models adjusted for confounding variables and health data were used to estimate the mean predicted probability of considering each warning label (WL) as the most important.
RESULTS: Overall, 80.9% considered at least one WL important.
