Cyanide and formate induce spectral changes in E. coli cytochrome bo which are similar to those induced in bovine heart cytochrome-c oxidase (cytochrome aa3). In this comparative study, three transfemoral amputee subjects were fitted with four different microprocessor-controlled exoprosthetic knee joints (MPK): C-Leg, Orion, Plié2.0, and Rel-K. Paraffin-embedded surgical specimens from 69 patients who underwent resections of otherwise untreated Dukes stage C adenocarcinoma of the colon were examined for proliferative activity, DNA aneuploidy, DNA index, and proportion of aneuploid cells by flow cytometry.
