OBJECTIVES: We aimed to compare the effect of elapsed time on sexual function in women who underwent a transobturator tape (TOT) procedure for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) with continent controls.
METHODS: Urinary and sexual function of 70 females were assessed preoperatively at month 6 and postoperatively at month 24 in the study group. Forty-five patients without urinary incontinence and demographically matched with the study group were assessed for sexual function at first administration and 24 months later in the control group. BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to evaluate efficacy and safety of the ATOMS system for the treatment of postoperative stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
METHODS: We included all consecutive male patients referring for postoperative SUI and treated with ATOMS system from June 2013 to July 2017. OBJECTIVE: The objective of the study was to evaluate objective and subjective outcomes of MiniArc and Monarc (American Medical Systems, Minnetonka, MN) midurethral sling (MUS) in women with stress incontinence at 12 months.
STUDY DESIGN: A total of 225 women were randomized to receive MiniArc or Monarc. Women with intrinsic sphincter deficiency, previous MUS, or untreated detrusor overactivity were excluded.
